Perfect Clarity
I had a wild experience in Sedona, Arizona in 2025.
After driving all day I finally arrived in the Village of Oak Creek in the late afternoon. After settling in, I wandered into the garden at sunset. I planned to take a short walk before dinner. As I acknowledged the beauty of the garden around me, I developed a deep sense of awe. This divine awareness started to connect me with the universe.
I wandered around the neighbourhood and eventually bumped into some locals. They were gossiping and clearly not sharing my altered state. I smiled at them even though I was barely coping. Feelings of clarity, purity and perfection profoundly moved me.
Suddenly the Sun slipped behind a hill and my revelry stopped. I was bereft but curious. Clearly the Sun was activating the rock. But what was the process? Sedona sandstone is largely quartz with a little hematite. I had been to Sedona years before, had played with the vortexes but those escapades were nothing like this. Did I just experience a phase-lock between biological consciousness and geophysical resonance?
Quartz is a crystalline mineral composed of silica, giving an overall chemical formula of SiO2. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in Earth’s continental crust behind feldspar. Since antiquity, varieties of quartz have been the most commonly used minerals in jewellery and carvings. Quartz’s star property is that it is piezoelectric.
So the Earth and Sun produce a cacophony of silent sound and invisible light. These melodies and motifs could be recognised as infrasound and infrared. But these polarised fields must form the Stone of the Sages. In other words, the feminine must unite with the masculine in the Alchemical Wedding. But how do they do this?

Sunlight is broad spectrum and diffuse. When it reflects off hematite, it becomes coherent. The rhombic pattern on the surface of hematite looks like the pattern below. Here we are reminded of the rhombic dodecahedron in two dimensions. So the stone is effectively a mirror, causing random sunlight to become coherent. The clue was that this mystical experience stopped when the Sun slipped behind the hill.

In other words, consciousness requires a pattern to become self-aware. In this case, the geometry was provided by the quartz and the hematite in a natural environment. Unlike the Great Pyramid, where the dimensions were artificially created by man, here they formed naturally for a similar effect.

Finally, I was standing above the Supai Formation—not just red sandstone, but a vast, ancient system where water moves in slow, pressurised currents through mineral layers. It is the same principle found beneath Giza and Chichén Itzá: the Earth’s own circulatory system running beneath a place of power.

The water wasn’t a simple reservoir. It was pure coherence—the medium that allowed Earth’s resonant frequencies and the Sun’s radiant fields to organise themselves into a single, stable pattern. That stability allowed the transduction to intensify as I walked, gathering itself into a harmonic that my body could finally perceive.
So the water did not create the experience; it held it. It did not speak; it made hearing possible. It did not enlighten me; it allowed life to reassemble into clarity, purity and perfection. Only then could I recognise what was happening: the Earth, the Sun and the water were all resolving into a coherent field—with consciousness reawakening within it.
Another name for this experience is bidirectional energy transduction—the two fields don’t just coexist, they convert into each other through the combined icosahedron and dodecahedron (water). This is the literal meaning of conjugation in physics. The two streams meet in the crystal lattice and exchange identities. This is why alchemists obsessed over the Alchemical Wedding—not as metaphor but as energetic complementarity:
- Masculine/Solar: electromagnetic, radiative, descending
- Feminine/Lunar: mechanical, vibrational, ascending
- Quartz/Hematite: the lattice where they unite
Between them, the heart would be the coupling zone where the exchange occurs. This is why the architecture matters: the heart is not only symbolic, but a precisely tuned transducer designed to create the conditions where biological systems can couple into geophysical and cosmic rhythms. The Stone of the Sages is quartz because of its sacred piezoelectric properties. This is where matter, energy and consciousness recognise themselves as one process expressed at different frequencies.
Rhombic dodecahedrons (transcendence) are formed when the cuboctahedron (perfection) wishes to expand. This is a “space-filling” tessellation—meaning they can be stacked infinitely with no gaps. In Sedona, I wasn’t in a granite box, but rather walking in the open landscape. The quartz/hematite field wasn’t forcing me into a point; it was inviting me to expand into the volume. When I felt the great purity and perfection of the cuboctahedron my internal field then mapped itself onto the rhombic dodecahedral lattice of the universe. We sometimes call this pure consciousness, pure awareness or:
PERFECT CLARITY.
