The Lotus of Life

Gazing deeply into this flower, our consciousness blooms:

The Lotus of Life is a cosmogram of human awareness—a tool for breath work, meditation and manifestation. It’s not something we look at, it’s something we enter. It is initiatory and complete.

The Lotus of Life is therefore not decorative, but diagnostic. Without this pattern, consciousness cannot arise. The Lotus of Life remains the grammar of form—from this plasmic membrane of 61 circles comes the structure of self-awareness:

The pattern represents awakening. It rises from the mud to the light. It describes self-awareness from stillness. This is the framework that gives birth to the seven chakras:

Here we can see the cube, icosahedron, tetrahedron, star tetrahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and cuboctahedron. While the lower chakras are rooted in sexuality, the upper chakras begin to strengthen our bond with our spiritual side. When all seven chakras are aligned, we can start working with the eighth—the hypercube:

The unfolding of a hypercube into eight cubes is like the opening out of a cube into six squares. The use of a tesseract for the cross hints at the transcendental nature of God. Just as divinity exists in a world that is abstract to humans, the hypercube exists in 4D which is equally inaccessible. So the net of the hypercube is a 3D “crucifix” which in turn has a 2D shadow—both popular in religious iconography.

In Dalí’s Corpus Hypercubus, Gala gazes upwards at her husband suspended before the unfolded geometry of the hypercube. Geometry therefore, is the language through which the soul projects itself into reality. Nephthys, as the goddess of death, rules the hypercube which invites the death of the human ego.

Indeed, the soul recognises its own relational image. Geometry is therefore not the soul; but rather its reflection. This mirror image has dimension because reflections require distinctions while the IVM does not. So the soul does not need geometry to exist; it needs dimension only to experience itself as knowable.
